Carl August Borgström started ABU in Svängsta, Sweden, 100 years ago in 1921. Pocket watches, telephone timers, and taxi metres were all made by the company. Unfortunately, World War II reduced the demand for taxi metres dramatically. Unfazed, ABU shifted its focus to the creation of precision fishing reels that are utilised by fishermen all over the world. They are equally as committed now as they were a century ago to offering the best quality and most inventive items to fishermen all over the world. The Glimmy, ABU-Draget, and Island are three of their most iconic lures, and they’re all in this box. These lures are re-creations of their classic 1960s and 1970s models, in their original colours.
